Two fan-made attempts to recreate the game, FusionFall Retro and FusionFall Legacy, were begun following the closure, however both ceased development in April 2020, following DMCA requests on the behalf of Cartoon Network.
FUSIONFALL LEGACY RELEASE OFFLINE
On August 23, 2013, it was announced that FusionFall would be shutting down, with servers going offline on the 29th of the same month. Originally using a subscription-based plan, wherein players who were not subscribed had limited access to in-game activities, FusionFall became entirely free-to-Play on April 16, 2010. An entirely new character, Lord Fuse, was created to serve as the game's main antagonist, rather than repurposing a preexisting character. Developed on the Unity Engine by Cartoon Network and Grigon Entertainment, FusionFall was set in the "Cartoon Network Universe", an alternate Earth inhabited by re-imaginings of characters and locations from various Cartoon Network properties. Its still young, so the game functions are still being worked on, and the expansion is coming soon.Originally released on January 14, 2009, Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall was a browser-based massively multiplayer online game (MMO). Characters like Ben Tennyson, Samurai Jack and Coop remain basically the same, and then their are the victims, some like Bloo and Princess didn't come out that well, looking like a waling mega ear plug and just creepy respectivaly. The places aren't the only things masterfully designed, the characters have responded well to Anime looks, with Blossom, Dexter, Juniper Lee, Billy and Numbah 5 easily reconizable and looking good. The graphics are masterfully tailored, with familiar places like Ed Edd N Eddy's cul De Sac, Fosters Home for imaginary friends, well house and the Power Puff girls city hall reconisable but with new twists to them. Where else do you get rides from monkeys, or miniature heroes, Nanos assisting you, or fight balls of goo with chicken legs, gum ball cannons and of course, Bonk Sticks! Have a favorite show? Dress up like Ben Ten, or Coco or a KND operative even, and race around the world. What other MMO has your favorite characters, the famous like Ed, Dexter and Ben and the lesser known like Coop, Juniper Lee and Hex gives you missions.
In this game, instead of playing an avatar players created online, Cartoon Network decided to let online players actually play different variants of their favorite Cartoon Network characters. AnonymousĬartoon Network Universe, Fusionfall is a game perfect for young players to get into the MMO phase, and what better place then with their favorite CN stars. On March 25, 2013, about five months before the original games shutdown, Cartoon Network released a new FusionFall game called FusionFall Heroes. The game was shut down in 2013 and replaced by Fusion Fall Heroes. In the later version, the time travel plotline was left out because it was too complicated and it was replaced by a facility dedicated to preparing young heroes for the world outside. By collecting mini versions of the characters, called Nanos, the player can gain abilities that will help her in the final confrontation against Fuse. Once the player returns to the past, she discovers an expanded world with more characters and areas to explore. According to Dexter (now a teenager)the only way to stop the invasion and save the world is to fix the time machine and go back one year into the past and defeat Lord Fuse before Planet Fuse absorbs the world. While many Cartoon Network characters are around, many more have been killed or have gone missing since the invasion started. The game was cancelled on August 29th, 2013, after 5 years online. It was redesigned in an anime style by Midori Foo.

He does a mini area damaging Cannonball if he uses one bar of Dextorium. He is a magician type that attacks using Wanda from 'The Wand.' It may get replaced on different hero variants of him. In this game, Gumball appears as a playable character. The time capsule crashes in the future and has to be repaired before being used again. FusionFall Heroes is the fifth MMO game on CN US. What does this button do?" sending the player eleven years into the future instead of just ten. Dexter's annoying sister Dee-Dee came in and messed up something with her trademark "Ooh. When the game was first created, players were introduced to the world through a time travel experiment with Dexter and Computress from Dexter's Laboratory. The original Fusion Fall was an MMORPG for kids and teens that featured customizable avatars that could interact with well-known Cartoon Network Characters.
